How to see someone's reposts on TikTok

Open the person's profile in the TikTok app and tap the Reposts tab (the icon with two arrows). If the tab is missing, they have hidden it or have not reposted anything. To see public reposts without the app or an account, enter their username in a repost viewer such as ViewTikStory's.

In the TikTok app

  1. Open the account’s profile.
  2. Look for the tabs under the bio: videos, then usually reposts (typically an icon with two arrows), and sometimes liked or favourites. Icons change between app versions.
  3. Tap the reposts tab to see what the account has shared.

Without the app or an account

  1. Open the TikTok repost viewer.
  2. Enter the username and tap Show reposts.
  3. Each repost appears with the original creator, when it was posted, and its views - and you can play or download it.

You never sign in, so the account owner has nothing to see.

Why the reposts tab is sometimes missing

  • The account has not reposted anything. The tab may not appear at all.
  • The reposts tab is hidden. Users can choose who sees their reposts. A hidden tab is a privacy setting, and no tool can read it.
  • The account is private. Only approved followers see anything.

From the outside, “hidden” and “empty” look identical. ViewTikStory says which cases are possible rather than just showing a blank page.

Only reposts are designed to be seen by others, so only reposts can be shown by a public tool.

Can people see that you reposted their video?

Assume so - reposting is public by design: it puts the video in your followers’ feeds and on your Reposts tab, where anyone who can see the tab (including the creator) can find it. If you want to save a video privately instead, use the video downloader or favourite it in the app.
