By username or link

Download TikTok stories by username or story link

Most people only have the username, and that is all this needs. If you copied a link from a story in the TikTok app instead, paste it as-is: a story link always contains the account it came from, so we load every active story on that account and you pick the ones you want.

Short links from the Share sheet (vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com) work as well. We follow them to the full address before loading anything.

Quality

HD quality and the watermark question

Downloads are TikTok's own files, passed through untouched - no re-encoding, so you get exactly the resolution the creator uploaded. If they filmed in HD, you save HD.

On watermarks: TikTok publishes many stories in two versions, one with the moving username overlay and one without. When the clean one exists we put it first. When it does not, the only ways to remove an overlay are cropping or blurring, both of which damage the video, so we tell you instead. Any downloader that always promises "no watermark" is either lucky or quietly re-processing the file.

iPhone: Files app → Downloads. Open a video there and use Share → Save Video to move it into Photos.
Android: the Downloads folder; most gallery apps pick it up automatically.
Windows and Mac: your browser's download folder, usually Downloads.
Saving several stories at once? Some browsers ask once whether this site may download multiple files - allow it and the rest follow.

Do it right

Saving stories responsibly

Downloading a story does not transfer any rights in it. Keep saved stories for yourself - as a reminder, a reference, a backup of your own content - and ask the creator before reposting anything. Reuploading someone else's story can earn a copyright claim against your account. If you are a creator and want your stories left out of this tool, use the opt-out.

Honest limits

What this tool cannot do

Only active stories can be downloaded. Anything past 24 hours is gone unless the creator pinned it as a highlight - use the highlights viewer for those.
Public accounts only. Private accounts publish nothing to the outside, so there is nothing to save.
A clean, watermark-free file is not always published. When it is not, we label the watermarked file honestly.
Download links are time-limited. If one stops working, run the lookup again for fresh links.
Saving a story does not give you the right to repost it. The creator owns it.

How do I download a TikTok story?

How do I download TikTok stories without watermark?

Choose the No watermark button on a story. It appears whenever TikTok publishes a clean version of the file, which is most of the time. If only a watermarked version exists, we say so on that story.

Can I download TikTok stories by username?

Yes. The username is all you need; it loads every active story on the account.

Will the creator know I downloaded their story?

No. You are not logged in to TikTok here, and saving a file is not something TikTok can see or report to the creator.

Can I download a TikTok story from a private account?

No. Private stories are only delivered to approved followers, so no downloader can reach them.

Can I download a story that has already expired?

No. After 24 hours TikTok removes the story. If the creator saved it to a highlight, you can still find it with the highlights viewer.

Why did my download link stop working?

Media links are signed and time-limited, and TikTok's own file addresses expire too. Run the lookup again to get fresh links, and save the file rather than the link.

Can I download my own TikTok stories?

Yes - and it is a good idea, since TikTok only keeps stories for 24 hours unless you pin them. Enter your own username and save them like any other.
