ViewTikStory does not host TikTok videos, photos or sounds. Our tools show public content that TikTok itself serves, at the moment a visitor requests it, and briefly cache lookup results. If you own content and want it excluded, we will block it - email us using the steps below.
What we store
No media files are uploaded to or kept on our servers. Lookup results (lists of links) are cached for minutes to a few hours so repeat searches are fast, then expire. Media passes through our network only while a visitor is downloading it.
Report your content
Email contact@viewtikstory.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
- Your name and how to contact you.
- The TikTok account and, if relevant, the links to the specific posts.
- A statement that you own the content or are authorised to act for the owner.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
We act on valid notices promptly - normally by blocking the account or posts from all of our tools, which also stops them being cached. For your own account, the faster route is the creator opt-out.
