These tools are free to use on public TikTok content. Creators keep all rights to their work - downloading a file does not transfer any rights to you. The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee it will work at any given moment.

What this service is
ViewTikStory provides browser-based tools that read and format publicly available TikTok data. It is an independent project with no affiliation to, endorsement by, or connection with TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Content and copyright
This is the important part. Every video, image and sound you access through these tools belongs to the person who created it. Using a downloader does not give you any licence or right to that work.
In practice this means: personal and offline viewing is generally fine; reposting someone else's video as your own is not, and can get your account actioned; and reusing TikTok audio outside TikTok can trigger a copyright claim, because most of it is commercially licensed music. You are responsible for what you do with anything you download.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use these tools to harass, stalk or intimidate anyone.
- Attempt to access private accounts or non-public content. It is not possible here, and attempting it is not welcome.
- Run automated or bulk requests against the service. It is built for people, and bulk use degrades it for everyone.
- Redistribute downloaded content commercially without the creator's permission.
- Represent this site as official, or as connected to TikTok.
- Use the tools to monitor someone who has blocked you or asked you to stop contact.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. TikTok changes how it publishes data without notice, and when it does, tools here may degrade or stop working. We make no promise of uptime, accuracy or continued availability, and we may change or withdraw any tool at any time.
Figures shown are snapshots read from public data at the moment you search. Do not rely on them for anything consequential without verifying independently.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this service, including anything resulting from inaccurate results, unavailability, or your use of downloaded content.
Copyright complaints
We do not host TikTok media. If you believe something here infringes your rights, follow the steps on copyright and DMCA, or write to contact@viewtikstory.com. Creators can also ask for their account to be excluded through the opt-out.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above will reflect it. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.

You can look up public content for research, but saving content does not give you rights to republish it, and bulk automated use is not allowed.
